Abstract

In this research study, a new population mean estimator for two auxiliary variables in stratified random sampling, based on power transformation and exponential techniques, was proposed, following the approach developed by Tailor et al. in 2015. We derived the bias and mean square error (MSE) of this proposed estimator up to the second order of approximation. The conditions in which this newly proposed estimator outperforms the existing ones were obtained. Empirical findings from the study confirm the superior efficiency of the proposed estimator compared to the existing ones.
